DEFINITION

The definition of  kitchen is a room where food is kept, prepared, and cooked and where the dishes are washed.

Synonyms of kitchen are : cookery, cookhouse, cuisine, cook's room, 

There are some different Layouts  of kitchen :

1. Traditional Kitchen has aesthetic appeal resembling to the past. The interior has the arches, the ancient contemporary materials being used for wall, floor and roof finishes. This kitchen looks very beautiful, elegant and also impart feel of traditionalism and culture.
2. Small Kitchen  is usually in a small apartment. It may include some cabinets and a stove, a ventilator, and a sink. If the space allows, it is added by a place for a sitting or something related to keeping of fridge or a microwave. 
3. Island Kitchen is a type of a kitchen that has an island means a [lace that is centrally located that might not be necessarily be the part of kitchen utensils or the slab, it  can be used for storage, or for seating slab.
- An island adds storage are in addition to cabinetry.
- A kitchen island is perfect for kids.
- Extra seating is a major asset.
- A movable kitchen island adds versatility.
- Place additional kitchen amenities at your island.'
- The material options for an island are endless.

4. U-Shaped Kitchen. It consists of work space on three adjoining walls, two parallel walls perpendicular to to a third, There are no traffic lanes flowing through the work area.
5. L-Shaped Kitchen. It has slabs on the two sides of the kitchen walls. It again a common type of kitchen design being sued as it liner in its form and is easy to adjust in any kind of house or place irrespective of the shape of other building parts.

6. Straight Kitchen. This is  the most common type of kitchen being used all over the world. It lines up in a straight line against one wall. It has everything that is required but is still beautiful besides it's alignment.


7.Large Kitchen. We can find this kitchen a lot since people start realizing the importance of the kitchen place. It has a large area and can be beautifully designed according to the requirement of the place and users

8. Dining Kitchen. It is combined with a dinning area. People who love to eat freshly cooked food and or the people who love hot food will chose this type of kitchen. 

There are many kinds of furniture and things we can find in the kitchen.
