A PLACE TO LIVE IN 1

DORMITORY,APARTMENT,  BOARDING HOUSE etc

HOUSE AND ITS ROOMS
We know people live in different buildings. These buildings are well known by us as a house. In English there are many kinds of house in which people live in. here we are going to find some kinds of house.


Deny and Malik are roommate.

Deny :  Do you plan to move to a DORMITORY
             next semester ?
Malik : No, I plan to move to an APARTMENT day 
             after tomorrow.
Deny  : I am going to move to a BOARDING HOUSE,
             a room in a PRIVATE HOME, and a CO-OP 
Malik : What is a boarding house >
Deny  : It's like a restaurant. you just eat there.
Malik : Where do we sleep ?
Deny  : We usually sleep in a ROOMING HOUSE
              or in a room in a private home.
Malik : How is a Co-op different ?
Deny  : A Co-op is like a dormitory, we eat and sleep
             there. It's not very expensive because everybody 
             washes dishes by himself and works..
