The meaning of HOUSE is a building for human, especially one that is lived in by a family or small group of people/

The synonyms of house are : resident.  home

We who have learned English know what a house is and the rooms that we often read are : bedrooms, bathrooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen. However, there are so many other rooms or places that we do not know. Here We will find the the kind of rooms in a house.



Situation: John takes a tour of Edward’s house for sale.
Edward  : Good morning?  Are John Smith who wants to buy my houses?
John      : Good morning. .Yes, I am. Can I see your house?
Edward  : Yes. Please come in.
John      : Thank you.
Edward  : Please follow me, and I’ll give you a tour.
John      : Thanks.
Edward  : This is the master bedroom. I just painted brown last month
John       :  So it's fairly new.
Edward   : This is my son's room. 
John       :  It's big enough.
Edward  :  This is my daughter's room. It'has a mountain view.
John       :  It looks so beautiful.
Edward  :  This is the kitchen, and as you can see, it has tile flooring and new cabinets.
John       : Yes. It’s beautiful!
Edward   : Thank you. This is the master bedroom. The carpet in here is about two years old, so it’s fairly new.
John       : Right.
Edward   : You can see that there is a master bathroom that is attached to the bedroom. The toilet and shower are a little older, but they’re in excellent condition.
John       :  Where's the family room?
Edward   : Here is the family room.
John       : I like it! It’s very spacious.
Edward   : Yes, it has a lot of room. Here is the bathroom. It's little small
John       : Sure. What about the laundry room?
Edward   : Right. I almost forgot. It’s beside of the master bedroom. It has a large closet,so you can hang your clean clothes after washing.
John       : Nice! I'll buy it.

ROOMS IN A HOUSE

balcony  :  An area with a wall or bars around it that is joined to the outside wall of a building on an upper level.






ballroom : a room in a stately home where rich people dance and concerts are held







bathroom : a room equipped for taking a bath or shower.
bedroom  :  a room furnished and used for sleeping
box room : a small room used for storage.










dinning room : a room in which meals are eaten, as in a home or     hotel, especially the room in which the major or more formal meals are eaten.










living room : a room in a home used, especially by a family, for a leisure activities, entertaining guests, etc.







sitting room : a small living room, often one that forms part of a suite in a hotel, a private house.
drawing room : a room in stately homes where posh people entertain.  








cloak room : a small room for downstairs toilet









Guest room : a room where guests sleep.
garage  :  a building or indoor area for parking or storing motor vehicles.









Utility room : a room where appliances such as washing machine are used.








kitchen  :  a room or a place equipped for cooking.
basement : a story of a building, partly or wholly underground.






cellar  :  a room, or a set of rooms, for the storage of food, fuel, etc, wholly or partly underground and usually beneath building.







conservatory : a greenhouse attached for a house as sun room, or for the display of plants






attic  :  the part of a building, especially of a house, directly under a roof. 










kitchen  : a room or place equipped for cooking
hall :  the entrance passage in a home.








Larder : a small room used for the storage of food.







Pantry : a small room used to store kitchen and dinning items
